Generating ROI - Return on Indigenous
We aspire to provide authentic imagery that reflects the beauty and diversity of Native American people, places and cultures. We do so, not for financial gain. Instead, we use the funds generated from the sale of the images to compensate the individuals and organizations involved in the production process. This includes providing talent fees to those featured in the photos, as well as honorariums to the entities allowing access to facilities and lands. The funds are also used to underwrite the costs associated with the paying photography crews and traveling them throughout Indian Country. Additionally, any ROI that we generate in the form of profits is "Returned to Indigenous" causes in the form of charitable contributions. Each year, we donate 50% of Indigistock's excess revenues to a handful of Native-led, non-profit organizations. The remaining 50% of proceeds are re-invested in Indigistock's budget to fund activities associated with growing the assets library.
